Our Burner Bio-Briquettes are all produced in the foothills of the Pennines
using the 100% natural waste timber shavings generated from a traditional tool
handle manufacturing process. 

100% NATURAL

Only hand selected kiln dried hardwood timbers such as Hickory, Ash & Beech
are used during the manufacturing process, where 150 tonnes of hydraulic
pressure bind the shavings into Burners Bio-Briquettes.

CARBON NEUTRAL

There are no binding agents, no additives and no adhesives. Just sheer pressure
and an 80KW photovoltaic system go into making Burners Bio-Briquettes carbon
neutral.

CLEAN BURNING.

Because we only use kiln dried hardwoods, the moisture content is between 6
and 8 % meaning less smoke & pollutants and less tar clogging up your
chimney.

PRACTICAL

Each pack contains 12 briquettes. The briquettes can vary in density
depending upon what mix of shavings are being produced at any given time, but
on the whole the weight of the packs will range from 9 to 12kgs. Easy to carry,
store and use.

The packs are shrink wrapped but are not 100% sealed - so do not store these in the open. Once wet, the natural lining binding is compromised and the blocks return to shavings

Intended for use on open fires, multi fuel stoves and similar wood burning appliances.

Light the fire using lighting wood in the usual way. Don't be tight - get a hot bed going as the briquettes are denser than some timbers and need a good jump start.

Add briquettes as desired, with the dampers open until a roaring fire is established, dampening down once the appliance has reached the desired temperature.

The briquettes relax as they burn - so will expand. Add one at a time until you are comfortable with how they behave.

Don't get giddy.....Please ensure that the fire is not overloaded!
